NEW TOKEN CHECKLIST

New Solana token checklist: verify the facts before you interact

New tokens often have limited history, changing liquidity and many copycat links. A short repeatable checklist helps you separate public technical facts from promotion before you connect a wallet or sign a swap.

KEY RULEMint address first. Ticker second.

Names, symbols and logos can be copied. Verify the exact Solana Mint and the market route before signing a transaction.

1. Identity

Confirm the exact Mint address from a source you independently trust. Search results, social replies and token lists can all contain lookalikes.

  • Full Mint address.
  • Canonical project domain.
  • Independent explorer cross-check.

2. Supply controls

Read total supply, decimals, Mint Authority and Freeze Authority directly from the Mint account. These are public configuration facts, not marketing claims.

  • Current supply.
  • Mint Authority state.
  • Freeze Authority state.
  • Token program.

3. Distribution context

Inspect the largest token accounts and published allocations where possible. A concentrated supply can create different market dynamics than a broadly distributed one.

Remember that pool vaults, treasury and vesting accounts may appear among large accounts.

  • Largest-account snapshot.
  • Known treasury or vesting addresses.
  • Published allocation model.

4. Market route

Verify the DEX pair, both token Mints, visible liquidity, volume and expected output. New markets can change quickly, so use live data immediately before signing.

  • Correct pair.
  • Liquidity and price impact.
  • Minimum received.
  • No seed phrase requests.
FAQ

Common questions

What is the first thing to check on a new Solana token?

The exact Mint address. A name or ticker is not unique.

Can a clean checklist prove a new token will succeed?

No. Technical checks cannot predict demand, execution, team behavior or price.

Should I connect my wallet to run basic checks?

No. Mint, authority and public market data can be inspected read-only.

Educational and technical information only. Crypto assets can be highly volatile and illiquid. Search visibility, token demand, exchange listings, price appreciation and profit are not guaranteed.
